5-star Clemson defensive back commit A.J. Terrell was voted the Player of the Year in Class 7A this week.

Terrell had national offers from Alabama, Auburn, Charlotte, Clemson, Colorado, Duke, Georgia, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Troy, USC, Virginia Tech and others. Clemson offered on 1/21/16.

Some of his current physical measurables include a 4.50 40-yard dash, 4.29 shuttle, 30-inch vertical jump, 230 bench press, 320-pound squat, and an 11.20 100 meters.

He plans on majoring in sports management in college.
