From The McDowell News: The second team included Highland Tech’s Jevon Patton, Chase’s Carlos Watkins, Shelby’s Donte Falls, Hunter Huss’ Jalen Kennedy and East Burke’s Trever Hyatt.
The District 10 first team included some familiar names for Titan fans. East Burke guard Clay Byrd was named the district’s Player of the Year after averaging 25 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game for the Cavaliers. Freedom forward Rob Noyes also made first team, along with East Rutherford’s Devonte Boykins, South Point’s Taylor Williams and Shelby’s Gabe Devoe.
