is ready for the next round. The receiver from Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes picked up a scholarship offer from the Volunteers this spring. He said Clemson and South Carolina have shown interest and could be close to offering him a scholarship. Either school would have to overcome the early impression that Tennessee has left. “Most definitely Tennessee,” Booker said when asked what school or schools may be standing out. “Tennessee is my No. 1 so far.” As a junior, he had 80 catches for 1,282 yards and 20 touchdowns. He had over 1,000 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns as a sophomore. He took an unofficial visit to the Clemson-BC game.
