Crezdon Butler had been waiting on a Clemson offer. After he received a Clemson offer, many believed he could have been an early commitment to the Tigers. Butler himself was once leaning that way.
"Clemson was the school I was waiting on an offer from. Things are picking up, and I want to see my options. I still like Clemson, but I am not saying I have a favorite." Butler has offers now from NC State, South Carolina, Maryland, North Carolina, Nebraska, Virginia, and West Virginia. Though he claims no favorites, Clemson and NC State appear to be the top two schools. Butler is expected to camp at Clemson and NC State and make a decision shortly after. "I am still going to make my decision during the summer. I want to have it out of the way by the time my season starts." Butler recently helped Asheville win the 4X100 relay at the state meet. "That really meant a lot to me win the state championship in the relay. We worked really hard, and it paid off. Hopefully, I will be able to compete for state championship in football this fall."
