Jocques Crawford made a very productive run through summer camps during the month of June. Crawford earned offers at all four stops he made (Clemson, Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Memphis).
"The camps really went well for me. I was able to pick up some offers, and really get a close look at some schools." Crawford also holds offers from Louisville, North Carolina, Mississippi State, and Northwestern. Currently, Clemson sits very well with Crawford. "Clemson is my leader. My best friend Phillip Merling is enrolling there right now. Phillip just adds to Clemson's lead, because I really liked everything, while I was there. Coach Burns is recruiting me, and he is also the running backs coach. I can tell he is a player's coach and is the type of a coach I would love to play for. Arkansas is right up there, too. They play in a big time conference. Coach (Danny) Nutt is recruiting me for Arkansas. They have nice facilities, plus they have had a lot of success running the football." Is Crawford close to making a decision? "I am not quite ready to make a decision. I almost committed at the Clemson camp, but I decided I wasn't ready. Most likely, I will commit before my senior season starts. I would like to be able to focus on achieving the goals I have in my final season." Crawford and JoJo Cox are the top two running back targets on the board. Clemson leads with both, and both could make decisions this summer.
