James Davis - Running Back
Height: 6-0   Weight: 205   Hometown: Atlanta, GA (Douglass HS)   Class: 2005

James Davis is one of the top running backs on the recruiting board. The Tigers had appeared to be losing some ground, but now have moved back in the race. As reported earlier in the week, Davis has moved his official visit back to January 14.

Davis is considering Alabama, Tennessee, Clemson, Virginia Tech, and Auburn.

"Clemson has moved up with me. The coaching changes were actually a positive for me. I want to run the ball. I watched one game and they threw the ball almost the entire game."

Coach Burton Burns has kept Clemson in consideration with Davis.

"Coach Burns is supposed to come by next Wednesday. I am really excited about it. I love Coach Burns, he was the first one to offer. He is the biggest reason why I am high on Clemson."

Davis has been invited to play in the North Georgia-South Georgia All Star game on December 21.
