With Jonathan Bullard leaning toward UF, that could be what Watkins wants as well.
“I really gotta sit down with my parents and discuss everything,” said Watkins on what it will take for him to choose Florida. “And my boy Jon ([Bullard), I don't want to base (my decision) off of him, but we could end up going to school together.”
Watkins plans on returning to Gainesville for an official visit and making a commitment during his senior season.
For UF to gain his verbal, Ledbetter believes he will be the determining factor.
“What it's gonna take is me to get on his nerves about it,” Ledbetter said. “I'm trying to get the best class we can down to Florida and I'm confident I can.”
