The 6-foot-7 Clemson signee battled relentlessly against a defense designed to contain him, shredding the Panthers for 34 points, 21 in the second half. Blossomgame scored 13 straight points for the Cougars in a span from late in the opening quarter until early in the second, and nine in a row as Chattahoochee took the lead in the third. "There was no doubt tonight who the ACC player on the floor was," Martin said of Blossomgame. "Jaron was unbelievable in the post-season. He made big basket tonight after big basket. He never backed down."
The Cougars (25-6) countered the Panthers' two Division I signees with one of their own, and as good as they were Friday night, Chattahoochee's Jaron Blossomgame was the best player on the floor.
