Reshad Jones - Defensive Back

ESPN: NR

Clemson has been able to go into Atlanta in recent years and pull away several top notch prospects. Burton Burns signed Ray Ray McElrathbey and James Davis last February, and we believe McElrathbey and Davis will avoid redshirts.

We have already mentioned Westlake's Kiante Tripp, but Booker T. Washington has a top notch prospect as well. Rashad Jones is a safety prospect, whose stock is rapidly climbing.

"Everything is starting to come along now. I have offers from Miami, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma, Tennessee and there is some others. There is not one school that stands out right now, but I like Miami, Oklahoma, Clemson, Florida, Maryland, Georgia, and Michigan."

With the way Georgia has recruited in-state under Mark Richt, many would be led to believe that Jones would be headed to Athens. However, he may have different plans in store.

"I am really leaning towards going out of state right now. I would like to have the chance to get away from home, and become my own man. If I stay in state, I will sign with Georgia, but I really want to go out of state."

How do the Tigers stand with Jones?

"I like Clemson. They have a good reputation of putting defensive backs in the NFL, they had Justin Miller get drafted this year. Plus they have two seniors starting in the secondary this year, so I might would have a chance to play early."
