“I could palm a basketball at an early age, and I’ve always been able to catch.” Which is why Bowers’ list of potential college suitors figures to continue to grow. Kind of like his cousin. “I love my cousin with all my heart,” he said. “Hopefully, someday, he will be in the NFL and I will be in the NFL and I can go against him. “May the best man win.”
“I feel like it is crazy that some of these guys really haven’t gotten a chance to see me play and they have offered me,” he said. “But they like their receivers and they like to throw it around. They are looking for a good, big, solid receiver with good hands. That’s very, very rare, but that is me. If you were to catch me dropping a pass it must be messing around in the hallways or in the fieldhouse or something.
