"All the schools I'm considering have great programs," he said. "I'm looking for the place where I can be successful on and off the field." Miller Safrit, a football recruiting analyst for ESPNU, said Marshall has shown a lot of savvy during his recruitment. "I think there are five or six schools who think they are in really good shape with him," Safrit said. "He seems to be measuring his words very carefully and knows that everything he says will be put under a microscope and examined for hidden meaning. He is not your typical high school player."
He said he still is considering around 14 schools and that the football programs wouldn't be the only consideration as he narrows his list.
