TigerNet spoke with 4-star athlete Mecole Hardman on Thursday morning and he let us know that he will be visiting Clemson this weekend.
Hardman is regarded at ESPN's #1 2016 athlete in the nation and 4-stars by all the major recruiting services. The standout receiver had nothing but great things to say about the Clemson coaching staff. "All the coaches are great. I mean can't say nothing but good things about them," said Hardman. Hardman was also impressed with the coaching style of head football coach Dabo Swinney. "Coach Swinney is a coach you'll die to play for because of what he stands for and what type of coach he is." Speaking of coaches - Mecole will be bringing two of his coaches with him on the Clemson visit - Coach Tilley and Coach Brown. He also said that the rehab for his torn meniscus injury is going well and he should be cleared around Wednesday for practice. The elite athlete visited the 2014 Dabo Swinney Camp back in June and was the fastest player at camp that day. The high-priority Clemson target has national offers from Charlotte, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Miami, North Carolina, Old Dominion, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, UAB and Wisconsin. The Miami offer was one offer that he said "was a dream come true" for him. Wisconsin was the first school to offer him. Hardman told TigerNet earlier in the season that he will also be at the Clemson-South Carolina game in Death Valley. Can't wait to be in Death Valley this weekend ???????? #Clemson #Tigers
