Rising-junior defensive back Stuart Head from Woodstock, Georgia will be visiting Clemson on Tuesday according to a text from Head to TigerNet.com.

TigerNet spoke with Head back on June 9 when he received a Clemson offer while attending the Dabo Swinney Football Camp. "I was very excited about it and it was a huge opportunity."

He also had great things to say about defensive coordinator Brent Venables.

"Coach Venables is really energetic and fun to play for," said Head. "The camp turned out well and was a great workout." He also said that he plans to bring his family up for a Clemson game this season.

Head has offers from California, Charlotte, Clemson, Duke, North Carolina and Vanderbilt. Georgia Tech was his favorite school growing up.

He was named 6A 1st Team All-State after 140 tackles, 3 interceptions, 15 pass break-ups and 2 forced fumbles as a sophomore. He was also named his team's defensive POTY while playing free safety.

He is also a weapon on offense as a dual-threat quarterback for Etowah high school.
