(Matthews, N.C./ Butler), ranked No. 199 in the ESPN 300, is set to play at the next level for Tennessee, multiple sources report. Auburn, Clemson, Louisville, LSU, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, Notre Dame, South Florida and Virginia Tech also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-2, 190-pound pocket-passer. Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Miami-FL, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Virginia showed interest. Ferguson, now the highest-rated 2013 recruit for Tennessee, posted huge numbers as a junior completing 184 of 279 attempts (65.9 percent) for 3,345 yards and 48 touchdowns. Attended the 2011 Orange and White Game in Death Valley. Won QB MVP honors at Nike Camp. In 2011, he threw for 3,433 yards and 48 touchdowns. He led Butler to a state title in 2010, passing for 2,899 yards and 24 TDs.
