From Gainesvilletimes.com:
Watson finished 13-for-25 passing for 227 yards, along with one touchdown and his first interception since Week 2 of the regular season. But he did more than just throw, rushing for 94 yards and another score on 23 carries, and caught a big 14-yard pass on a wide receiver reverse thrown from Tray Harrison.
“It’s very exciting. The last time we went I was in the eight grade and I was in the stands watching, and I told myself that I wanted to get to the state championship, and now I am,” he said. “I wasn’t really focused on the record [16 yards short of all-time GA season record], I was just trying to get the victory. “Now next week I can accomplish that in an even bigger game.”
