, a 6-3 combo guard who has committed to Clemson. The left-hander has been known for his shooting but has really worked to improve his ball-handling skills.
"Before the event, Rooks was primarily known as a shooting guard, but the talented Rooks has worked hard in the off season on his ball handling and passing ability," said event organizer Rick Lewis. "He has really elevated his game and has become a better all around player. He will not be known just as a shooter anymore."
He was at the Brownell Elite camp last August. Grew up in Anderson, South Carolina and his mother went to Clemson. Rooks has been recruited by Clemson since the 7th grade. During his sophomore campaign, Rooks averaged 15 points, three rebounds and three assists per game. He played well at the Carolina Challenge, scoring nearly 19 points a game. Committed to Clemson on 5/13/2011.
