(Goose Creek, S.C./Goose Creek). "I committed to the Tigers yesterday," said Burrell, who picked the Tigers of Georgia Tech. "I just love it there and I kinda knew from the beginning. Then I camped there and really knew after being around those coaches. I love those guys. I love the campus. The best part is their scheme. Coach Kevin Steele will be a great guy to play for. He will make you work hard, make you a better player and person. The guy is just great." Burrell, 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds, can't wait to suit up for the Tigers. "It's gonna be great," Burrell said. "I will give it 100%. I am physical, hard-nosed and play with a lot of heart." He finished his junior season with 105 tackles and 3 interceptions. He was named a class of 2012 ESPNU 150 Watch List Recruit.
