got a small taste of life as a Clemson Tiger this past weekend when he made a visit to the Clemson campus as part of Junior Day for the Tiger football program. King is a 6-4, 290-pound offensive lineman out of Dillon who has offers from most of the southeast’s top programs, including LSU, Clemson, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia Tech. King, who was on campus until Sunday morning, said he got to do something he has always wanted to do. “It was a lot fun, and I had a good time,” the Dillon product said. “I had a lot of fun spending time with the coaches and exploring Clemson.” His favorite part of the trip? pledged to South Carolina early in the cycle. “I talked to all of the coaches, and they told me to keep working hard,” he said. “Coach Swinney told me that he was excited for me to be there, and he was happy one Dillon player came instead of canceling. He told me he was going to be keeping in touch.” He said he still doesn’t have a timetable for a decision. “There is nobody at the front,” he said. “I am just looking for a place that has a good football program and is a family-type environment.”
