is the team's #2 quarterback on the roster. "Charlie is the No.2, that is why we signed Charlie to come in here, and he'll be that way going in, Whisenhunt said. "Charlie has had a good offseason, he's done a really good job."

The Titans had drafted LSU's Zach Mettenberger in the sixth round of the NFL draft but he is currently battling for the 3rd QB spot on the roster.

For his career, Whitehurst has completed 84 of 155 passes for 805 yards and three touchdowns. Whitehurst has made an estimated $85,000 per NFL pass attempt during his NFL career.

He was drafted by the Chargers in the third round (81st overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft.
