Watson on his haters: "Keep doubting me"

by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson star quarterback Deshaun Watson is preparing for his NFL career and it was announced during Thursday's interview with NFL Network that he will throw at the NFL Scouting combine next month.

"Honestly, I can just go out there and compete and be the quarterback that I am," Watson said. "I don't want to get too focused on what I got to show what I need to do because I think I lose track of the little things. Doing the little things right, completing passes or whatever the coaching staff want me to do at the combine and just go out there and show what I got."

Watson was asked what does he tell his doubters that think that he won't be successful at the next level.

"Watch the tape," Watson said. "Keep doubting me. Wanna keep sleeping on me, doubting me then you will figure out when you play against me."

In 2016, Watson completed 388 passes out of 579 attempts for 4593 yards and 41 passing touchdowns with 17 interceptions for an adjusted QBR of 84.9.
