Athlon Sports has ranked on Friday the
Top 20 best quarterback-head coach combinations in college football for 2015.
Clemson's Dabo Swinney and
Deshaun Watson "If this was a Chad Morris-Deshaun Watson combination, it might be the best in the nation," Fox Sports said. "Watson is that good when healthy and is clearly the best in the ACC. Swinney was voted as the sixth-best coach in the ACC and needs to prove he can do it again without Morris, his old OC who is now the head coach at SMU. Swinney is a great motivator and recruiter but how much game-planning and play-calling is he doing on Saturdays?" Other ACC Coach-QB combos included Georgia Tech at #14 and Miami at #19. The top Coach-QB combo for 2015 was Ohio State's tandem of Urban Meyer and QB Cardale Jones.
