by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson defensive end Shaq Lawson was picked by the Buffalo Bills with the #19 selection in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Lawson was introduced this afternoon in a press conference to the Buffalo fans and assembled media.

“Last night when I was waiting on that call, I knew Buffalo was sitting there at 19 and I was like, ‘Please come get me Rex.," Lawson said. "And when I got that call from New York, I knew I was coming to Buffalo and it’s just been a great city,” Lawson said. “I experienced a lot this morning. I’ve seen the city and places and things like that.”
