CLEMSON - Clemson (1-2) had just six hits in the 9-2 loss to the Raiders Sunday afternoon at Doug Kingsmore Stadium, allowing the Raiders to leave Clemson with the series win. It was the second time in three years that the Tigers lost the opening series of the season, as they lost to West Virginia two years ago.

On the weekend, Clemson totaled just 23 hits – 11 of which came Friday night. Clemson finished 4-for-23 with runners in scoring position on the weekend and finished just 9-for-46 against left-handed pitching in the three-game series.

Wright St. stole eight bases in the series, while Clemson mustered just two.
