Reed is preparing for the upcoming football season by apparently directing traffic in downtown Clemson.

Official Clemson Bio - Abe Reed is in his eighth year as a Football Equipment Manager with the Clemson Athletic Department. Reed served as a student equipment manager for football at the University of Houston in 1996 and 1997. He served as a graduate assistant for football at Clemson from 1998 to 2000.
Reed is a 1997 graduate of the University of Houston and earned a degree in Biology. He is a member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association. Reed is married to the former Holly Hepfer of Sumter, SC. The couple has a son, Lance.
