"If I am picking one player to start a team with in college football, I am picking Deshaun Watson," Pollack said on Tuesday during the Russillo and Kannell show. "He is that good. The deep ball he throws is so exceptional. His accuracy is exceptional. His pocket poise is exceptional. There is not a lot of things he can't do. I'm a big believer in Deshaun Watson."

Pollack went on to discuss the other Heisman finalists - Alabama running back Derrick Henry and Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey.

"I'm not taking anything away from McCaffrey or Henry," Pollack said. "Both those guys have been sensational and awesome and without them they wouldn't be as good. Stanford has two losses. Every running back that plays for Stanford is going to be productive. I'm not hating because of what he has been able to do. You got 90 carries plus in the last two weeks for Derrick Henry. He has been the workhorse, and the wouldn't be where they are without him, but I just think Deshaun Watson and what he has been able to do for an undefeated team and for a team that had a lot of holes coming into this season, has been pretty amazing."

Pollack knows that Watson should get some credit for leading his team to the nation's only 13-0 season.

"The thing about Watson is they are undefeated," Pollack said. "Say what you want about the schedule but they beat some really, really, good teams. They beat three top 12 teams at the end of the season. Watching this season if you took him off that team I think they would have lost two or three games, maybe even more."

Vegas odds on Heisman Award: Derrick Henry: 2-7, Christian McCaffrey 7-2 and Deshaun Watson 6-1.
