WATCH: Dantzler part of Leadership Initiative

by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson quarterback Woody Dantzler was back in his hometown of Orangeburg on Thursday taking part of the 'My Brother's Keeper Leadership Summit'. Dantzler talked to young African-American children about manhood, making a good impression, character and many other things.

"This is my community," said Dantzler at the event. "They (youth) need to be able to look beyond what they can see, and reopen that thing in their brain called imagination and unlock that thing called hope they have in their heart to push for greatness."

Dantzler played for the Tigers from 1998-2001 and was the first player in NCAA history to throw for at least 2000 yards and rush for 1000 in the same year.
