Vic Beasley ranked in Top 10 Rookie ratings for Madden 2016

Madden 2016 released its annual rookie rankings on Monday and former Clemson standout Vic Beasley made the Top 10 rookie ratings for the video game. He joined rookies - wide receiver Amari Cooper, quarterback Jameis Winston and defensive end Leonard Williams among others.

Beasley was ranked 77 overall as a rookie in the video game which also included an 87 strength rating, 88 speed rating, 89 acceleration rating and a rookie-best 92 jumping rating. NFL.com has a rookie projection of 35 tackles, eight sacks and four forced fumbles for Beasley.

The full Top 10 Madden 2016 rookie rankings include Amari Cooper (#1 overall, 82 overall), Jameis Winston (#2 overall, 81 overall), Todd Gurley (#3 overall, 80 overall), Leonard Williams (#4 overall, 80 overall), Brandon Scherff (#5 overall, 80 overall), Dante Fowler Jr. (#6 overall, 79 overall), Melvin Gordon (#7 overall, 78 overall), Kevin White (#8 overall, 78 overall), Marcus Mariota (#9 overall, 78 overall) and Vic Beasley Jr. (#10 overall, 77 overall).

Beasley accumulated 33 sacks (25 sacks in his final 26 games) and left Clemson as the all-time sack leader and had an amazing 52.5 tackles for loss at Clemson. He was also a two-time first-team All-American and was selected as the ACC Defensive Player of the Year in 2014.
