#4 Clemson (11-1) has opened as a nine-point favorite against Virginia Tech (9-3) on Saturday night at 8 pm ET on ABC at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
Clemson has won 11+ games for the second straight season and the fourth time in the last five years while the Hokies are red-hot winning five of its last six games to win nine games for the first time since 2011. Virginia Tech cruised to a 52-10 victory against rival Virginia for the Commonwealth Cup in Lane Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Senior defensive end Ken Ekanem said during postgame interviews that the win was a statement game. "This game was a statement game to tell Clemson that we're coming," Ekanem said.
