#2 Clemson will face #3 Ohio State in the Playstation Fiesta Bowl at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Dec. 31 at 7 pm ET.

The latest Vegas projection has Ohio State as a three-point favorite against Clemson in the playoff matchup. Flashback a few years ago, the Tigers defeated Ohio State in the 2014 Orange Bowl with an impressive 40-35 win.

The betting website Oddshark has a projection of 37-36 in favor of the Buckeyes.

"Clemson has all the pieces to be one of the best teams in the nation, but inconsistency almost doomed the Tigers on several occasions," Oddshark said. "This inconsistency has also made Clemson an iffy bet, as the team has gone just 1-5 ATS in their past six games against teams with winning records."

Here are some betting trends for the Clemson-OSU matchup:

Ohio State is 2-6 ATS in its last eight games.

Ohio State is 11-1 SU in its last 12 games after losing the previous game in a matchup.

The total has gone OVER in Ohio State's last three games against teams with winning records.

Clemson is 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in its last five games against the Big 10.

Clemson is 1-5 ATS in its last six games against teams with winning records.

The total has gone OVER in Clemson's last four games.
