Two Tigers to participate in the All-Star Football Challenge

DALLAS (February 1, 2016) – The 2016 Quicken Loans All-Star Football Challenge, an exciting skills competition featuring college football’s brightest stars, is gearing up for its 18th edition at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. The annual program is scheduled to air Friday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2.

Individual events in the 2016 Quicken Loans All-Star Football Challenge include: Quicken Loans QB Accuracy Competition, Playstation Hands Competition, Mercedes-Benz Lineman Strength Challenge, Marines Obstacle Course and the Speed Kick. To conclude the program, the players will be divided into teams for the Quicken Loans Team Competition. The event will have encore airings on ESPNU at 12:30 a.m. ET and 9 a.m. ET on Feb. 6. ESPN will also air an encore at 5 p.m. ET on April 9, and ESPN2 will air an encore at 7 p.m. on April 25.

“We are extremely excited for this year’s All-Star Football Challenge because of the talented roster we have invited,” said Intersport Vice President of Sports Properties Drew Russell. “Each year we see an increase in the level of talent, and we expect this year to set the standard. The production has become a staple for us as we continue to bring engaging experiences to very passionate fans.”

Alumni of the All-Star Football Challenge include three Heisman Trophy winners (Ron Dayne, Troy Smith and Jason White), 60 first-round NFL draft picks and 29 Pro Bowlers, such as: Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan, Jamaal Charles, Greg Olsen, Dez Bryant, Von Miller, Vernon Davis, Joe Flacco, Donovan McNabb and Edgerrin James.
