CLEMSON, S.C. - Sophomore Seth Beer (Suwanee, Ga.) and senior lefty Pat Krall (Downingtown, Pa.) were both named preseason All-Americans by Collegiate Baseball on Monday. Beer was named a preseason first-team All-American, while Krall earned preseason second-team All-America honors.

Beer, winner of the 2016 Dick Howser Trophy as national player-of-the-year, batted .369 with 57 runs, 13 doubles, 18 homers, 70 RBIs, a .700 slugging percentage, 62 walks, 15 hit-by-pitches, a .535 on-base percentage and one steal in 62 games. He ended the season on a 60-game on-base streak and had a 26-game hitting streak earlier in his freshman season.

Krall became the first Tiger in history to lead the team outright in wins (10) and saves (5) in one season in 2016. He was 10-2 with a 1.67 ERA and .203 opponents' batting average along with 65 strikeouts against 17 walks in 80.2 innings pitched over 29 appearances (three starts).

Beer, Krall and the Tigers begin the 2017 season on February 17 against Wright State at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
