USA Today released their college football preseason All-American team on Thursday with two Clemson players included with Heisman finalist Deshaun Watson on the first team, and defensive tackle Carlos Watkins selected on the second team.

"The junior is the preseason favorite for the Heisman Trophy," USA Today said about Watson.

Watson's 5,209 yards of total offense and his 47 total touchdowns last season were ACC records, and his rushing total was a record for a Clemson quarterback.

Alabama led the way with six selections on the two All-American teams.
