Trevor Booker playing well |

played 40 minutes for the Wizards against the Magic on Wednesday night after playing 31 on Tuesday night, and while the Wizards were without Andray Blatche and Rashard Lewis, Booker's been playing well enough lately that the big minutes might be a sign of things to come. He's been really good in limited minutes all season, and is a decent source of both steals and blocks (in addition to the usual points and rebounds). In his past five games, Booker is averaging 10.0 points and 8.4 rebounds to go along with 0.8 blocks and 1.6 steals. Those are certainly solid numbers, especially considering he's averaged just 27.8 minutes during that stretch. In addition, most nights it feels like Booker is one of the only players on the Wizards who actually understands the intricacies of how to play basketball. That's important, and it is what's earning him more minutes in the two games since the break.
