will have a PRP treatment for his knee Monday and will remain out indefinitely.

“My knee was at a standstill and it wasn’t getting any better,” said Booker, who sprained his right knee during the preseason but hasn’t appeared in a game since aggravating the injury in a loss to Indiana on Nov. 19.

Like his teammate John Wall, Booker met with noted orthopedic specialist David Altchek, who reviewed Booker’s MRI and determined that the best course of action for Booker would be to have a platelet-rich plasma treatment to encourage a more natural healing process.

He will have the treatment administered on Monday by the Wizards’ team doctors and need to rest for an entire week before returning to any physical activity.
