Three Tigers named to 2016 All-America team

by - Assoc. Editor -

USA Today released their College Football All-America teams on Thursday and Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson was snubbed in favor of Lamar Jackson and Baker Mayfield at the quarterback position.

However, in positive Clemson news, three Clemson defenders made the prestigious list with defensive Cordrea Tankersley on the first-team defense and defensive lineman Christian Wilkins and linebacker Ben Boulware on the second-team defense.

This has been a huge week for Boulware as he has already been named to the 2016 Jack Lambert Award and ACC's defensive player of the year by the ACC coaches.
