is currently battling Matt Simms for the number 3 quarterback position for the New York Jets.

Boyd is expected to finally make his NFL debut on Saturday night when the Jets visit the Cincinnati Bengals.

"Obviously, there have been ups and downs throughout camp," he said. "Sometimes I feel like nobody is holding me back but me right now. I have to play with confidence and a sense of urgency, and do things I know I can do."

"Right now, I'm doing everything I can possibly can to make this team," Boyd said. "I'm looking forward to going out there and making some things happen."
