Tajh Boyd is a better Jake Locker?

by - Assoc. Editor -

According to NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah, Clemson QB Tajh Boyd compares favorably to Titans' Jake Locker.

The comparison is to Locker when he played at Washington. Boyd, a Heisman frontrunner, has also been compared to Russell Wilson. Jeremiah notes Boyd's less-than-ideal size, but says the prospect "has a very live arm" and "outstanding toughness." Boyd's throws display requisite velocity, but the quarterback will have to improve his accuracy and touch this season to move up draft boards.
