turned in a solid performance against NC State last Thursday going 24-37 for 244 yards and 3 touchdowns. Some missed throws and dropped passes kept Boyd from putting up eye catching numbers in the game.

Boyd is still number 3 in our Composite Heisman Rankings. Look for Clemson offensive coordinator Chad Morris to keep Boyd in the game longer if the Tigers are able to build a big lead against Wake Forest on Saturday to build some rhythm for the offense. As a result, Boyd could add some big time numbers to his stats this weekend.
