Swinney says Tyshon Dye "right now he is a go"

Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney talked to the local media after Wednesday's football practice. One of the main topics was the health and condition of running back Tyshon Dye Tyshon Dye

. He has participated in full practice the last two days.

"We will see how the game goes," Swinney said. "He's done everything he needs to do. He's demonstrated enough of a grasp that he could play. Right now he is a go. Whether it's one play, no plays or 50 plays we will see how it goes."

"He's not gonna be perfect day one. He hasn't played in a while. He doesn't have his sea legs, but he has practiced really well. At some point you just have to go play. I am excited to see him out there. Offensively, he can really help us, but you can't expect too much, too soon out of a guy that hasn't played in a year and a half."

One other practice note - TE Jordan Leggett had surgery on his meniscus earlier in the week. Swinney said that his mentality has been good throughout the process.
