has done a great job since coming back to the football team from some personal issues.

"He has had a good camp and he has gotten better as he has gotten more and more in shape through camp," Swinney said. "Proud of Jay. Attitude is great. That is a perfect example. Different scenario with those two guys with him and D.J.[Reader] but there is a perfect example of a young guy that kind of lost his way. I wasn't sure he would be ever back with us. Not only is he back, but he is a different person and has just been a breath of fresh air. It's just great to see him back to the way I knew Jay. because he was really was in a bad spot. I'm proud of him. I'm really proud of him and his family for everyone putting their arms around him and helping him though the situation he was dealing with. I know he looks big and strong, but he is just a young kid inside. So he is a perfect example. He was away for a while and he didn't even want to play football anymore.

Swinney says that Guillermo is now enjoying the game and having fun again.

"Now he is just loving it and having a great time," Swinney said. "He's doing a great job with his teammates. I don't think I have said his name three times all camp for anything negative, bad, or hey let's go. He has been a solid, focused guy all the way. Hopefully, it will be the same thing with D.J. That's all in his court."

One non-football practice note, Jay Guillermo's birthday is today (8/26).
