Swinney promises pizza for entire Death Valley crowd if Clemson makes CFB Playoffs |
The Clemson football team (8-0, 5-0 ACC) was ranked the #1 overall seed in the College Football rankings released by the College Football Playoff committee on Tuesday night on ESPN.
Dabo Swinney didn't want to get too enthusiastic about the possible high rankings during his Tuesday press conference but did say a massive pizza party will happen if his team can secure a spot in the final college football playoff rankings. "The only poll that we’re excited about is Dec. 6, and I promise you we’ll have the biggest poll party you’ve seen,” Swinney said. "We’ll open up Death Valley and serve pizza to everybody. That’ll be a time to celebrate a poll. Until then, it doesn’t matter." Will the Pizza be from a local Pizza Hut, Papa John's Pizza, Little Ceasar Pizza, Peppino's, Mellow Mushroom, Todaro Pizza or some combination of all of them?
