is our starter," Swinney said. "I do think it's sad when you have fans boo a player. I think that's really sad. I didn't know that happened until after the game. When a guy is playing his butt off for you and he's a dedicated, disciplined player that is playing well and he gets booed and then you have another guy come in and he gets cheered. I just think that's bad. You cheer for all of your guys and trust the coaches to do their job. If the coaches don't you hold them accountable, but love the players."

Swinney also added, "Cole's job is to play at a high level and try to keep the job. DeShaun's job is to try to beat him out."

He was asked if Watson deserved more playing time based on his play against S.C. State and he said that "We'll continue to evaluate."
