Swinney compares Lamar Jackson to Michael Vick

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney was interviewed by ESPN personality Marty Smith on Monday morning for the #5 Clemson and #3 Louisville matchup on Saturday night in Death Valley.

Swinney told him that Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson reminded him a young Michael Vick.

"He's Michael Vick, right-handed," Swinney said.

Clemson defensive end Clelin Ferrell said the following on Monday afternoon about Jackson.

"You can't arm tackle him," Ferrell said. "You have to take him to the ground. He's very elusive in the pocket."

Jackson is 74-for-126 for 1330 yards with 13 passing touchdowns and only three interceptions. He also has 526 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground through four games this season.

Even Michael Vick has been in awe of Lamar Jackson's performances through four games in 2016.
