Spiller doesn't understand Chan Gailey's 'winded' comments |
According to the Buffalo News, former Clemson running back
C.J. Spiller
C.J. Spiller "I'm not going to get into a battle with my head coach if I'm winded," Spiller said. "I'm in shape. Let's just put it like that. I'm in shape. If I wasn't in shape, then I shouldn't be on the field. But I'm in shape." Spiller had eight touches Sunday -- one over the final 22 minutes of the game. The Bills tried to get the ball to rookie receiver T.J. Graham as often as they did to Spiller, the NFL's leader in yards per carry. Afterward, Gailey again mentioned Spiller "gets winded and he comes out." Spiller said he will sit down with Gailey soon and try to understand what he means.
