has a new home this season with Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints by signing a four-year $16 million deal this off-season.

NFL.com released an article on Monday ranking the Top 10 NFL comeback player of the year candidates for 2015 and Spiller was ranked #3 overall.

"It's easy to forget that Spiller was one of the NFL's most explosive backs in 2012, flashing lateral agility and long speed reminiscent of the "CJ2K" version of Chris Johnson," NFL.com said. "Spiller topped 1,700 yards from scrimmage at an eye-popping 6.8 yards per touch with a play-caller who schemed open-field touches. His last two years were marred by a high-ankle sprain a broken collarbone and scheme ill-suited to his strengths. Spiller landed in a dream scenario this year, as Sean Payton excels at using scatbacks to create mismatches in the open field."

Spiller rushed 668 times for 3,321 yards (5,550 all-purpose yards) and 12 touchdowns during his time with the Bills. During an injury-shortened 2014 season (broken collarbone), Spiller had 78 rushes for 300 yards and also had 19 catches for 125 yards and a touchdown. His best season came in 2012 when he had an impressive 1,703 total yards and a career-high 8 touchdowns. He was drafted by the Bills with the 9th overall pick in the 2010 NFL draft.

The other comeback of the year candidates include Adrian Peterson (#1), Carson Palmer (#2), Sam Bradford (#4), NaVorro Bowman (#5), Darren McFadden (#6), Tyrann Mathieu (#7), Victor Cruz (#8), Colin Kaepernick (#9) and Jordan Cameron (#10).
