Skip Bayless: "Clemson is going to knock off Alabama"

Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless said on Monday morning during his television show that he thinks that Clemson will upset Alabama to win the National Championship.

"Guess what is going to happen next Monday night," Bayless said. "Clemson is going to knock off Alabama and get revenge for 45-40 last year. Clemson, as I said on Friday, has been waiting all year for this game. They were looking ahead especially their quarterback Deshaun Watson. Looking ahead all year to this game which is a dangerous way to play the football season because their hearts never seemed in any one of those games that we talked about. They did just enough to get the national semifinal and then it was like now we can go. I was not impressed with Alabama."

Fox Sports One analyst Joel Klatt disagreed with Bayless and predicted a win for Alabama over Clemson

"Let me tell you why you are wrong and why Alabama is going pull down their second national championship in the last two years," Klatt. "I am going on record. Alabama is going to win this game and here is why. Clemson is a phenomenal football team, but they have turned the ball over 26 times. You know the first thing that leaves you when pressure starts getting put on you in your face - your decision-making. You make poor decisions, and Deshaun Watson has shown a propensity to make poor decisions. He is going to give Alabama chances. That's why Alabama is going to score another non-offensive touchdown. When they do that unbeatable. You can not pick against Alabama if you have studied what Nick Saban does with this defense."

Shannon Sharpe also predicted a win for the Crimson Tide and said that Alabama coach Nick Saban will go down as the greatest college coach of all-time after another championship.
