Six Tigers named in ESPN's top positional CFB rankings

ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay released his positional rankings of the top college football players for the 2017 NFL draft.

Six Clemson football players were ranked nationally with four on the offensive side and two on defense.

Heisman finalist Deshaun Watson was ranked the #1 quarterback (grade 88), Wayne Gallman was listed as the #6 running back (grade 73), Mike Williams was picked as the #4 wide receiver (grade 82), and Jordan Leggett was ranked the #3 tight end (grade 75).

On the defensive side of the ball, Ben Boulware was ranked the #5 inside linebacker (grade 69) and Cordrea Tankersley was listed as the #4 cornerback (grade of 86).

Senior defensive tackle Carlos Watkins was not ranked with the defensive tackles according to Todd McShay.

The season is almost upon us as Auburn will host Clemson at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Sept. 3 at 9 pm EST.
