ESPN released its ACC All-Conference picks for the halfway point of the college football season and six Clemson players were listed.

Clemson offensive players included were quarterback Deshaun Watson and offensive guard Eric Mac Lain while the Tigers had four representatives on defense including defensive end Shaq Lawson, linebacker Ben Boulware, safety Jayron Kearse and cornerback Mackensie Alexander.

Deshaun Watson is second in the league in total offense (274 yards) and third in passing efficiency (156.8).

Shaq Lawson in second in the league with 10.5 tackles for loss (1.75 per game) and tenth in sacks (3.5).

Before the season, he called himself the best corner in the country," ESPN said about Alexander. "Through six games, he’s proving it, shutting down Notre Dame’s Will Fuller and leading a secondary that is allowing just 43.8 percent completions."

ESPN picked only three Tigers in their preseason All-ACC team back in August with quarterback Deshaun Watson, wide receiver Mike Williams and defensive end Shaq Lawson.
