Sharone Wright helps with Basketball camp

“There is really nowhere else I would rather be,” said Wright, a former standout at Southwest and Clemson and former NBA player. “This is something that I look forward to all year, and seeing the turnout we have this year makes it all worthwhile. I am a Macon guy, and it will always be home to me. I love my city, and I probably never go a day without talking to someone from Macon or Middle Georgia. “

Wright, who said this may be the most talented group of players he ever has had at a camp, said it is important for everyone to know that this is not an ordinary basketball camp.

“We strive to give the kids an intense basketball week,” said Wright, who is a former NBA first-round draft pick. “This is a full skill set basketball camp that works hard to make every player here fundamentally strong. We have 15 great staff members who know the game, and we are all on the same page as to what we want to accomplish this week.”
