Shaq Lawson writes thank you letter to Clemson and its fans |
Clemson standout defensive end
Shaq Lawson took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to show his appreciation to the Clemson coaches, fans and other people that made his time special at Tiger Town. Lawson announced last month that he will be headed to the NFL after his standout junior campaign at Clemson.
"I want to thanks Clemson University and Tiger Nation for the BEST 3 years of my life! My childhood dream was to play college football and in the NFL. I want to thank President Clements, and the entire faculty at Clemson who have helped me. I will be coming back to complete my degree. I want to send a special thanks to Coach Swinney, Coach Hobby, and our entire football department for your help and support. We made HISTORY together!" Lawson had four tackles and two sacks in the 45-40 loss to Alabama in the National Championship game. He led the nation in tackles for loss with 25.5 on the season.
